Tairua B&B Accommodation
All guest rooms have their own private entry and patios. Breakfast can be self serve in the guest lounge with its own small kitchen, or join your hosts Karen and Kerry for a cooked breakfast in the dining room or out on the patio - alfresco style. You can even bring your pet dog with you (on request) to this piece of heaven. All rooms have flat screen TV's, SKY and wireless internet. Laundry facilities are also available. |

Three Beautiful Suites
The Pohutukawa Room is upstairs & overlooks our expansive gardens to the Tairua Harbour and contains a super king bed plus a sofa bed, a luxury shower, hairdryer & tea/coffee making facilities.
The Kowhai & Koru Rooms are downstairs and open into the garden, they share a luxurious bathroom with both shower and spa bath. The guest lounge & kitchenette are located on the next level and open out onto the BBQ area.

Gourmet Cooking Classes
Join your host Karen O'Reilly and Chef Nick Roberts at the Tairua Coastal Lodge for a weekend of cooking classes. These classes are intimate affairs limited in numbers starting on the Friday evening with drinks & starter demos followed by a full day of food preparation, wine matching and, of course, the mandatory sampling and finally on the Sunday a special breakfast class. Activities & Sightseeing
You may wish to venture outside this secluded paradise - there are plenty of activities available in Tairua and the surrounding Coromandel. Safe swimming beaches, surfing, diving & fishing tours, croquet & bowls, canoeing, walking tracks, restaurants, shops & cafés. Within close range there are other areas & towns to explore including Pauanui, Opoutere & Whangamata. Visit famous Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach, Hahei and Whitianga - the Coromandel is not to be missed. |
